i decided to pick an example of ornamental cooking as defined by Barthes example.

The example is a partridge dish

Image Detail This dish is made for the eye much like the ones described in the essay and the next one is a very traditional dish much like the ones that the working class would have been eating during the periode.

this dish below is elegant but simple rustic in nature meaning the partridge and the elegance that is highlighted is the dish it is served on.
